Taylors Trailers - Trailer security items

At Taylors Trailers, we offer a wide range of security items. We can supply security items from SAS, Bulldog, and Maypole. Items of various standards are available to meet your requirements. Certain items are Thatcham approved.
*Coupling locks* - These are locks that fit onto the coupling of the trailer. They can be used while the trailer is hitched up, preventing seperation of the trailer from the vehicle, or they can be used while unhitched, stopping the trailer from being coupled to another vehicle. Locks are available to fit both eye and ball couplings.
Wheel clamps - A range of wheel clamps are available to fit different wheel sizes . They prevent turning of the wheel, making it impossible to tow the trailer. The clamp pictured here is a one piece kit which fastens over one of the wheel nuts. Clamps are also available that cover all of the wheel nuts.
Chains, Cables and padlocks - These can be used in various ways to secure your trailer. The chain or cable can be secured to different points of the trailer and used to fasten it to any number of items. The chains, cables and padlocks are available in different thicknesses depending upon the level of security required and can either be purchased as chains with locks incooperated or as seperate items.
Anchor points - These can be used in conjunction with chains cables and padlocks as an item to secure the trailer to. They are mounted on the floor and the chain or cable can be passed through it, immobilising the trailer.
U-locks - U locks are available to secure trailers and bikes to posts to prevent removal. They Come with a number of keys for ulocking the devce
Security posts - Security posts act as an anti ram devices. They are concreted into the ground, for example in a driveway, to prevent movement of vehicles or trailers. different models are available that can be folded down or removed completely. The post here is one that can be removed. The black section is concreted into the ground and the yellow post can be taken out or locked in place. Posts are also available that incorporate a 50mm ball. This means that a trailer can be hooked and secured to the post.
Locking Wheel nuts - Wheel nuts that need a unique adaptor to remove them, preventing wheels from being taken. The locking wheel nuts are only available with a 12mm x 1.5mm thread size.
*Garage door security* - Prevents a garage door from being opened, hence keeping the contents of the garage safe. The garage defender shown here is bolted to the ground in font of the garage door, stopping it from being opened. The top section can be unlocked and removed when access is needed.
