Flatbed trailers

We at Taylors Trailers have produced flatbed trailers in many shapes and sizes. We can produce flatbed trailers up to 7 metres long and gross weights up to 3500kg. We can also produce 6.1m (20') container trailers with a width of 8', for towing by commercial vehicles. All chassis' are fully galvanised. Twist locks can also be fitted for use in securing loads.

These specially designed trailers with a body size of 3.66m x 2.3m (12' x 7'6'') and a gross weight of 3500kg, are used by councils for grounds maintenance. They can be used to carry lawnmowers of various sizes and other tools. They incorporate a full width folding tailgate, the first section being made of steel and the second fold down section of aluminium for ease of handling. The tailgate is also spring assisted for ease of use. The trailer also has deck rings on the inside of the body for use when strapping goods down This 6.7m x 2.44m(22' x 8') triple axle, Flatbed trailer with a gross weight of 3500kg was produced for use with a commercial vehicle for carrying large goods up and down the country. This type of trailer could be fitted with twist locks to help with securing loads.

3000 Series

The 3000 series is a lightweight, yet strong flatbed range. They have high payloads and use high quality components.
various accessories (right) increase the trailers uses. The rang is suitable for most cars and vans.

The models in the range with a 'B' are braked trailers.

The Bravo range consists of trailers with larger body sizes then those in the 3000 series, and maintains the high payloads and strong construction.

5000 Series
The 5000 Series has a number of models with varying sizes, each model having different gross weights available. The trailers come with integrated, internal deck rings and external rope hooks for use when securing goods. The side panels have high quality, integrated catches and can all be dropped and removed. Rear corner posts are also detachable. Trailers are supplied as standard with steel sides. A number of accessories are available for this range of trailers. All models in the 5000 range are available with Aluminium drop down sides, which are lighter and easier to handle. These trailers are suitable for large vans, 4 x 4's and commercial vehicles.

PL Series
There are many models in the Wessex PL series, with a number of weights and sizes available. Trailers can be customised using the optional extras available. Trailer size ranges from 8'4'' x 5' to 16' x 6'6'' and the PL14 and PL16 models are also available as triple axle trailers.
